The Duke of Gloucester suddenly became ill on Thursday afternoon and was rushed to the Countess of Carnarvon’s nursing home in the West End. Doctors have diagnosed the trouble as appendicitis, and an operation may be necessary, but the Duke is restful this morning. ; •
