COAL MINES SETTLEMENT
SCOTTISH PARTIES’ AGREEMENT. British Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Aug. .4. The settlement between the Scottish coal-owners and the miners was ratified yesterday, when at a meeting of the Scottish Coal Conciliation Board an agreement was signed respecting the new wage terms for a 7J-hour shift.
