BLAZE ON THE WEST COAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association . Grey mouth, Last Night. Fire at Runanga last night completely destroyed the grocery store of AJec’Farqtihar, valued at £5OO. apd the contents, valued at £B5O. Mr. Ihrquhir had arrapged for the- Self-Help Stores to tqk* over the business ©n Tuesday next, and the new firm was to have taken stock to-day. . 1 The origin of the fire is not known. Mr. Farquhar was absent throughput the afternoon and evening, and left a small fire in the grate at midday. The insurances on the building are £3OO, and the stock and fittings were covered for in the Royal Office, .
