TREASURY BILLS RENEWED

INTEREST REDUCED 2 PER CENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Adelaide, Aug. 1. The Premier, Mr. L. L. Hill, has been informed that £1,800,000 worth of South Australian Treasury bills, due yesterday, have been renewed for a further three months by the banks at 4 per cent. For the previous year the banks charged 6 per cent.
