EUCHRE PARTY'AND PERSONAL.
The fortnightly euchre party on Thursday, the final of the series, drew a large crowd, 16 tables being engaged. The euchre prizes were won by Mr. S. Jury, -Mrs. Gall after playing off with Miss C. Kendall, Miss M. Rea and Miss T. Vincent. The aggregate prizes were won by Miss Norma Berridgc with 60J games and Mrs. H Kendall (second) with 58 games. Dlr. F. Seamark and Air. Al. Reynolds tied each with 56 games and didided first and second prizes. < After supper Airs. M. Reynolds provided music for the dancing. Airs. J. Thomas played for extra dances. A Monte Carlo dance for which Airs. Al. Reynolds donated prizes was won by' Aliss Dot Vickers and Aliss Norma Berridge, who were dancing together. Aliss T. Vincent, Wanganui, and Air. A. Vincent,’ Wellington, visited Airs. Reynolds during the Week and attended the euchre party. Air, aud Airs. F. Alyers, Christchurch, who were farming on Pheney Road for several years, paid a visit to Hurford Road during the week. Airs. J. Anthony has recovered sufficiently to return home. ■
