MR. LLOYD GEORGE’S ILLNESS
SATISFACTORY PROGRESS MADE. British Wireless. Rugby, July 30. A bulletin issued this morning stated that Mr. Lloyd George had passed a restful night arid that liis strength Was well maintained. His condition so far continues satisfactory. Messages of sympathy from the King, Queen and Prince of Wales liriVe been received at Mr. Lloyd George’s house since the serious nature of his illriess became known. Several inquiries ivere made from the Royal yacht at Cowes. Before undergoing the operation Mr. Lloyd George dictated to liis daughter a message to the Liberal Summer School, which will open at Cambridge to-day, in which the daughter will take his place. It was officially announced to-night that he had had a fairly cohifortable day anil slept at intervals. His progress was well riiaintaiiied and his general coildiiion continues satisfactory.
