Hogg made the best nett score and Ramson the best gross. Scores are:— Championship.—Hogg 69, Short 68, Pruden 67, George 65, Ramson 64, Dickson 60, Stewart 60. Handicaps. —Ramson 64—7—-71; Hogg 09 —scr— 69; Pruden 67—2 —69; Stewart 60 —7—67; Dickson 60 —6—66; George 65 —scr —65. LADIES’ BRANCH CLUB NIGHT. The senior button was won by Miss G. Griffith, with a practice score of 66 at the weekly shoot of the ladies’ miniature branch of the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club when the second competition of the third handicap series was held in conjunction with the continuation of the championship. The junior button was won for the second consecutive week by Miss R. Whiting, who scored 49 in firing off with Misses E. Milner and P. Death, all of whom had tied with 48. Championship scores were: — Seniors.—Miss C. Kretschmar 64, Miss M. Ramson 63, Miss G. Griffith 62, Miss A. Bill 60, Miss D. Philpott 60, Miss A. Harvey 57, Miss G. Harvey 57, Miss A. Benny 52.
