MR. LANG’S UNDERTAKING
RELIEF FROM COMMON’vVEALTK. ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Canberra, July 29. Mr. Scullin has received the following telegram from Mr. Lang: “Replying to your wire, I undertake on behalf of my Government to meet the conditions stipulated. Please expedite the provision for the July requirements.” This refers to the Loan Council's decision to assist the New South Wales Government conditionally upon Air. Lang joining the Loan Council and passing legislation giving effect to the Premiers’ economy plan.
