ACCIDENTS IN STREETS
TOTAL IN GREAT BRITAIN LARGE INCREASE SHOWN. An increase of 5000 in the number, of street accidents in Great Britain' during 1930 is shown in a return issued by the Home Office. The total number of accidents was 156,793, compared with 151,801 in 1929. As a result of the accidents 6096 people were killed and 170,917 injured, in 1929, and 7305 killed and 177,895 injured in 1930. The principal causes of the accidents
