WAITARA CYCLE ROAD RACE
HANDICAPS FOR THE FIRST EVENT
The Waitara Cycle and Athletic Club will open its season to-day with a road race to Waiwakaiho and ’ back, a distance of about 14 miles. This is the first of a series of six races for which a silver cup has been presented as a points prize. The - race is to start at 2 p.m. from the- Waitara post office. The handicaps are:—Roy Sole, A. Ellis, scratch; C. Tippins, G. Sole, T. Haw, 30sec; E. Oliver, L. Claffey, linin; J. Wigg, L. Tuffery, 2min; G. Tuffery, H. Eva, G. Topless, A. Fulton, .2Amin; B.? Sole, AL Wiley, G. Thomson and W. Hicks, Guiin.
