Rec. 12.55 a.m. Nottingham, July 6. Rain stopped play this morning ten minutes after the resumption of the cricket match between New Zealand and Nottinghamshire. The weather is clearing and there is a prospect of play after lunch.

The Notts batsmen added five runs to their Saturday night score of 138, and when play was interrupted this morning the score was 143 runs for three wickets.
