AIR-FORCE PLANES SOLD

PURCHASER NOT ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 24. Having served the New Zealand An Force until the adoption of more modern machines, four Avro 504 K training machines have been sold. Three of these are fitted with 100 h.p. Monosupape engines, and the fourth with a 110 h.p. Lo. Rhone. With each machine were three spare engines and other stores. •• They have been granted a certificate of airworthiness for one year, but neither the purchaser nor the price ; paid has been divulged.
