WAIAUA CUP SECOND ROUND DRAW LADIES’ FLAG COMPETITION. The draw for the second round of the Waiaua Cup contest conducted by the Opunake Golf Club is:—Stephenson or Hinch v. R. B. Fleming, Thomas v. Tompkins, Julian v. Mai'eroft, L. M. Stephenson v. G. Cundy. The following will represent Opunake against Mangamingi on the Opunake links next week-end: —J. N. Stephenson, C. O. Edmonds, G. Cundy, K. Tompkins, G. Feaver, A. Hinch, F. Julian, D. Thomas, P. Harding, R. B. Fleming, L. S. Donnelly, G. Mdvor, C. H. Marcfoft, S. R. Oliver, F. Barraclough, B. S. Dudlev; emergency,’ F. Hammond. In the 18-hole flag competition Mrs. Olliver (handicap 20) went to the 19th green, Miss Trotter (28) ISth green, Mrs. Brennan (29) 18th green, Mrs. Stephenson (32) 17th green, Mrs. Hatntmond (28) and Mrs. Morris (16) 17th ■fairway. The 9-hole competition was won by Mrs. Edmouds who finished just through the 9th green. Miss Collins and Miss B. Fleming were runners-up. Players who have reduced handicaps are: Mrs. Olliver from 29 to 20, Mrs. Brennan from 36" to 29, Miss Hinch from 36 to 33, Mrs. Ritchie from 36 to 33.
