Lowth (Labour), resulted: — J, Henderson (Labour) 15,294 S. L. Elbourne (Conservative) . 14,980 Ardwiek is a Manchester electorate which contained 22,260 men and 23,898 women at the 1929 elections, when the result was: Lowth (sitting member for the district), 20,041; Mary L. A. Jones (Conservative), 13,177.
