COLD SHOWERY WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Thb weather will still be cold and squally with showers in most districts and'in places snow or 'hail. Conditions will ba mainly fair on the west coast of the South Island. An intense disturbance has been centred east of Cook Strait to-day. An anti-cyclone is moving across the Tasman Sea. Winds will be southerly and strong tc gale force. Seas will be heavy in Cook igtrait and north of Kawhia and south of Rast Cape; elsewhere rather rough to rough.
