TAXI-DRIVERS ON STRIKE
CHRISTCHURCH SERVICE DISPUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Christchurch, June 20. Declaring their garage black, men driving Gold Band taxis decided this afternoon to go on strike. They demand that the proprietor, C. S. Trillo, should allow them a full one-third of the takings and not deduct amounts to pay fines and allowances for the office stall. Uris Mr, Trillo refuses.
