MAN ROBBED OF WAGES
AUCKLAND WORKER ASSAULTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Auckland, June 20. A man, walking home with his wages in his pocket, was brutally assaulted and robbed in New Lynri at about seven o’clock last night. The man, Harry Davis, aged 60, employed by the Public Works Department in the country, was within a hundred yards of his home when he was attacked from behind. One dragged him on to the footpath on his face while the other stole £l6.
