TRANSPORT CO-ORDINATION
NEW SOUTH WALES DEFICIT. CONFIDENCE OF ME. J. T. LANG. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, June 19. Mr. J. T. Lang made a forecast in the Assembly to-day, when he gave a second reading speech on the Transport Bill, that the Act would in a great measure remedy the position into which the finance of the State had drifted. Drastic steps were needed, the Premier pointed out, to balance the Budget of the railways, but he was confident that when the whole of the transport services of the State were co-ordinated the huge deficits in thia department would be eliminated. The owners of private cars would be in no way affected by the Bill.
