MURDERS IN KENT
WANTED MAN DISAPPEARS. London, June 10. , The police are satisfied that the “wanted” man lias been lost overboard, and Scotland Yard has given up the search for Mr. Lewis, whose Wife and daughter were found buried under ?a new fish pond at their home dt Belvedore, Kent. Lewis boarded a Leith-bound, steamer at Wapping, in the Thames, in the panip of Davidson, on the night b'fbre the bodies were found. ’ He told the passengers that the doctor had ordered a voyage. He spent the night in his cabin, and next day was seen on deck A splash was heard in the early evening. An hour’s proved unavailing. Lewis’ identity was established by his pipe and by laundry marks on the clotlies he left on board.
