The results of the dairy factor}' competitions at the national dairy show which will open to-morrow were announced to-day. The butter championship was won by United and Kowatahi (equal) and the cheese by Rua Roa. Lowgarth gained third place in two factory managers’ classes and the class for first assistants. Ngaere was third for the Shipping Company Cup. Taranaki gained no awards in the butter classes. Cheese results are:— . Championship of New Zealand. Rua Roa (N. J. Terry), 2845, 1. Kaipororo (W.
