LINDRUM PASSES NEWMAN
BILLIARDS MATCH AT SYDNEY. ENGLISHMAN’S BEAUTIFUL BREAK. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 1.10 a.m. Sydney, June 11. With one day of the match to go, Walter Lindrum, Australian billiards champion, has passed Tom Newman, England, to whom he conceded 5500 points in a 10-day match. Lindrum to-night brought his total to 17,332, including breaks of 301 and 280. Newman has scored 17,177. He made a beautiful break of 552 to-day.
