DUNEDIN CITY ECONOMIES
SURCHARGE EOR RELIEF DROPPED.

Dunedin, Last Night.
The Dunedin City Council to-night decided to make a reduction of 10 per cent, in the wages of its employees. The council rescinded a motion imposing a surcharge of 5 per cent, on gas and electricity accounts for the provision of unemployment relief funds.' The money will be foiind by the trading departments.
