1 AuTsp.hr ook and Co. was fined. £5 by the magistrate, Mr. H. P. Lawry, on a charge heard on May 13 of sending a letter for hire or reward, otherwise than by the post, contrary to the Post arid Telegraph Aet. Edwin dark, a servant of the company, for carrying a letter for hire, was also fined £5.
