Wanganui, June 8. The North Island sheep dog trials were concluded later to-day at Kai Iwi. The following are the results:-— Short head and yarding event.—W. V. Mclntyre’s (Inglewood) Boss, 56$ points 1; P. McKenzie’s (Broadwood) Haigh, 55, 2; H. H. Harris’ (Mataroa) Brigadier Bill, 544, 3; T. Sullivan’s (Makirikiri). Smoke, 54, 4. Huntaway ■ event. —H. H. Harris* (Mataroa) Walley, 424 points, 1; R. J. McDonald’s (Dannevirke) Boy, 42, 2; F. King’s (Awakino) dog, 424, 3; W. V. McIntyre’s Bruce Again, 41, 4. Special prizes were award/d as follows: —Gaisford Bowl and Lillico Shield, P. McKenzie; Rutherford Shield, W. V. Mclntyre; McLean Bowl, H. W. Harris; H-t-tionald Cup, H. H. Harris.
