Canberra, May 5. ,Mr., Scttllin stated that a Premiers’ conference would be called at ari early date to consider the report now being prepared, by the sub-committee set Up by the Loan Council at its last meeting. The comniittee, after examining the whole budgeting position tjf the various Governments, questioned whether a largef conference, embracing the Governments arid the Opposition, should be called. It would be a matter for consideration when the Premiers’ Conference was called.
