LAND TAXATION IN BRITAIN
OPERATION OF THE FINANCE BILL. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, April 30. Mr. P. Snowden moved to permit the Finance Bill to embrace the taxation of land, values, though this will not operate till the subsequent year. This was carried without a division, Mr. Snowden gave notice of motion imposing in 1933-4 a tax of one penny on every unit of land in Britain.
