LONDON STORE FAILS
APPOINTMENT OF RECEIVER. . London, April 23. ■Sir William MeLiptock, the noted accountant and actuary, has been appointed receiver and manager of a great women’s fashion store, Gainage’s (West End), Ltd., which was opened last September at a cost of £1,600,000. Barclay’s Bank, applied to. the Chancery Division for such an appointment.
