IMPRESSIONS IN BRITAIN. NO STOCKS OF WOOL HELD. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, May 1. “General trade conditions in Europe have improved slightly, and the impression is that the financial situation has touched bottom,” stated Mr. W. Innes Kerr, a Sydney wool and skin merchant, who returned yesterday. “The market for our wool is promising, despite occasional variations. The Wool arriving from Australia is going into consumption as soon as it lands, and no stocks are being held.”
