CO-ORDINATION OF TRANSPORT. - SHAREHOLDERS ACCEPT TERMS British Wireless. Rugby- May 1. By a large majority the shareholders of the Loudon underground group approved the proposed terms upon which the companies, will be acquired under the scheme for the co-ordination of London passenger transport under a public board to be appointed by tlw Minister of Transport. The terms were strongly recommended bv the president, Lord Aglifield, who. replving to critieiism, pointed out that the proposed board would be free fiom political interference. Negotiations are also in progress between the Transport Ministry and other undertakings involved in the scheme.
