A Bengal Government proclamation states that .owing to the dangerous, disturbed state of certain districts in Chittagong and the conduct of the inhabitants additional police will be quartered in 52.0 f the. villages for two months at the cost Of the inhabitants. A number of houses were raided by the police, and several arrests were made. The curfew order, night patrols and other precautionary measures are •till continuing.
