COST OF COMMONWEALTH. London, April 23. There is a possibility that Australia will seek some relief or suspension of the annual contribution to the League of Nations amounting to about £31,00Q in 1931. Probably the application foy relief will be sympathetically considered, as it has been in other similar cases, including that of Japan after the earthquake' dfld some South American States whose subare not up to date, -while <VPna is greatly in arrears.
