USE MORE THAN QUOTA. ALMOST WHOLE OUTPUT USED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 28. Inquiries in reliable quarters show that the success of British films in New Zealand during recent months has 'been outstanding. It is stated that examination by inspectors of record books under the Cinematograph Films Act show that most theatres have screened considerably more British films than ar® required under the Act. T'-is is particularly noticeable in the cities and larger towns, where the theatres have screened practically the whole output at one or other of the British renting companies.
