Mrs. P. Skoglund left for Wellington yesterday morning on a short holiday.
Mrs. S. Pitt has returned from a holiday in Auckland. *

Mrs. Sime, Scotland, is the guest of Mrs. L. Curtis.
Mrs. T. L. Paget, who has been the guest of Mrs. W. H. Young, has returned to Wellington.
Miss Alley and Miss Kayll, who have been staying with Mrs. J. Fredric, left during the week for Wanganui.
Miss Joyce Burkett, who has been the guest, of Mrs. Anderson, left on Tuesday for Rotorua.
Mrs. Warburton, Hawke’s Bay, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. N. Green.
Mrs, MacGregor, who was the guest of Mrs. Tyrer, has returned to Waverley.
Mrs. W. H. Young was hostess at a bridge party on Saturday night for her guest, Mrs. T. ! L. Paget. Among those present were Mrs. J. Richards, Mrs. E. Young, Mrs. A. Coleman, Mrs. Tyrer, Miss MacGregor (Waverley); Mrs. H. Good and Mrs. 0. Qurtis.

The members of the Stratford Ladies’ Golf Club held on Monday afternoon a very successful bridge party at the residence of Mrs. H. Burmester in aid of the new pavilion.
