STRIKES ROCKY ISLAND IN FOG.
HUNDRED SURVIVORS RESCUED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Hongkong, April 23. The steamer Pando Rajaputana ar-i-ived from, Sanghai with 114 passengers and members of the. crew of the Chinese steamer Hwahyang, which foundered in a’fog on a rocky island off Weiichow. The Rajaputana sighted a flag of distress arid found the Hwahyang breaking up on, the rocks. The survivors, 100 of whom had made their way ashore, were conveyed aboard the liner in lifeboats.
