COWMAN AND YOUNG BOY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, April 24. The holders of the winning ticket in the “Lucky Dog” art union are H. Wood aged 69, single, an old age pensionci employed as a cowman, and H. Patterson, aged 14, the youngest of a family of five. His mother is a widow. Both live at Hamner. Wood bought the ticket from Patterson and promised to share it with him equally if he won.
