By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.45 p.m. Sydney, Mar. 16.

A terrible tragedy was discovered on a small dairy farm near Denman, a husband and wife and four children, the eldest aged eight, being found dear}- The house Was in flames and the bodies were almost unrecognisable when they were found.

The father, John Marriott, was lying inside the back door with a doublebarrelled shotgun alongside him. He had been shot through the head, but it is believed the mother and four children met their death by other means, as bloodstains were discovered about the house.
