Wellington, Last Night.

The weather wil Ibe cloudy and unsettled in districts with a westerly aspect, and in the far south, with some rain. Later scattered rain will extend to other districts. ' Temperatures will be warm, but will become cooler during to-morrow, A series of low-pressure waves is crossing the southern Tasman Sea and New Zealand. An anti-cyclone over southern Australia has made little advance during the past few days. There will be moderate to strong north-west to south-west winds, but southerlies will become mope general during to-morrow. Seas will be rather rough in Cook and Foveaux Straits, and moderate elsewhere.
