MISS CRAWSHAW DEPARTS

CONCERT AT NEW' PLYMOUTH.

Miss Mary Crawshaw, New Plymouth, who is leaving to study under a musical scholarship at the Royal Academy in London, was farewelled at a final concert in New Plymouth last evening.. Items were given as follow: Miss Al. Crawshaw (piano solo), Mrs. Martini, Miss Vera Moginie, Miss Turnbull, Messrs. \ VV. D. Hay and J. Quinn (songs), Mrs. Kircher (elocution). All the soloists were recalled. Miss Crawshaw and Miss Coleman played the accompaniments. The Mayor (Mr. H. V. S. Griffiths) - presented Miss Crawshaw -with a cheque and on behalf of the citizens of Ney ■ Plymouth wished her goodbyp. Mr. A. C. Downes replied on behalf of' Miss Crawshaw. ' Miss Crawshaw will leave New Plymouth by the mail train this morning and sail from Wellington in the Jlataroa for England at daybreak on Wednesday . morning.
