TARANAKI A. AND F. SHOW.

NEXT WEDNESDAY' & THURSDAY.

On Wednesday and Thursday of next week, at New Plymouth, the Taranaki Agricultural Society will present one of the finest exhibitions of stock ever seen in Taranaki, arid. indeed the Dominion. It will be a show no farmer can afford to miss and every, townsman should see. The farmer will have no hope of seeing in one day all there is to be seen. He should come both days, because the committee has this, year concentrated on. the educational side of the show. At 2.30 p.m. on the first day Mr. Win. Perry, of'Masterton, will give a demonstration on sheep and. wool. Mr. Perry has bred. sheep of all breeds with remarkable success, and there is nothing he likes better thaii discussing sheep with interested people. This demonstration alone presents a great opportunity to farmers and stiidenta in agriculture. Then there is the purebred pig section. Well, one hundred and fifty pens of purebred pigs of outstanding quality will take some iooking_ over. As for the cattle, it is well known that some very fine purebred stock has been imported recently from Canada and through America, arid'that Taranaki breeders have secured the pick ot it. Next week’s show will see these aristocrats ih competition. These are just a few of the reasons why the farmer cannot afford to miss the show. As for the townsman, his interests are wrapped up-in agriculture, unfi naturally he likes to see what progress the farmer is making. The show affords this opportunity. ; And so next week’s A. and E. Show should attract record crowds to the Waiwakaiho showgrounds at New Plymouth, to witness the 55th annual <shQW of "the Taranaxi Agricultural Society, ' . "
