RAILWAY REFRESHMENTS
REDUCTION IN PRICE OF MEALS.

The Minister of Railways made a statement to-day that, recognising the cost of food supplies had shown a falling tendency, he had decided to reduce the charge for meals served at railway refreshment rooms from 2s 6d to 2S.
