The Nationalist leaders have cabled the leaders of the three political parties in England stating that Lord Strickland’s delegation of ex-Maltese parliamentarians is visiting London and is due to interview Lord Passfield to-morrow. It represents the minority in Malta. The statement protests against any constitutional amendments curtailing the religious and civic rights, and trusts that Britain will refrain from interfering with local questions and “lending themselves to partisan intrigues detriment of Malta, national rights to defend on ner protection.”
