The Opihi loaded at Dunedin on Wednesday for Nelson and New Plymouth, via usual ports. She is due at New Plymouth to-morrow and will return south via Nelson and Wellington to Dunedin, where she is scheduled to reload, on February 23. (U.S.S. Co.) The Hauturu is scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth from Onehunga this morning and will return to the northeim port later in the day. (Norths ern Co.) The Progress, from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, is due at New Plymouth to-morrow. (Hooker Bros.) MIRRABOOKA TO-MORROW. To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo, the Swedish motor-ship Mirrabooka arrived, at Wellington yes-' terday morning from Auckland. The vessel is due at New Plymouth to-mor-row morning to discharge 65 tons of motor spirit and 250 tons of general cargo. From New Plymouth the vessel will proceed to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This will be the first visit of the vessel to New Plymouth. The Mirrabooka, which belongs to the TransAtlantic Steamship Co., Ltd., of Gothenburg, Sweden, is commanded by Capt. Bergendahl. She has a gross registered tonnage of 5979 tons and 14,500 tons displacement. She is 449 feet in length and 57 feet in breadth. OVERSEAS SAILINGS. The Union Company announced that the Federal Company vessel Cambridge, at present loading at New Plymouth, is scheduled to leave for Oamaru on February 24. The New Zealand Shipping Company vessel Ruapehu is due to leave New Plymouth about February 20 fot Wellington. MATAROA AT AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa arrived at Auckland from London, via Wellington and Napier, on Saturday morning. She berthed, to unload the remainder of her cargo, about 2500 tons, from London, and to commence loading for her Homeward voyage. The vessel is scheduled to lift 5060 boxes of butter and 9000 crates of cheese at New Plymouth. HERTFORD LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cabled advice has been received that the" Federal Line vessel Hertford left Liverpool last Saturday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. KAPONGA TO BE LAID UP. The Kaponga arrived at Auckland from Greymouth on Sunday evening and berthed at Western wharf. Owing to the slackness of trade the vessel is to be laid up and the erew paid off. TAIROA AT AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Savill steamer Tairoa arrived at Auckland on Friday evening' •from Antwerp. She brings basic slag for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth, and is to leave the northern port on February 24 for New Plymouth, where she will discharge 1675 tons of slag. JOHN FOB OVERHAUL. The coaster John, which left New Plymouth on Saturday for Wellington ’and Dunedin, is scheduled to arrive at Dunedin to-morrow and will then be overhauled. SURREY AT WELLINGTON. To continue her Homeward loading, the Federal steamer Surrey arrived at Wellington late on Sunday afternoon from Napier. She is to leave again today for Port Chalmers and Bluff to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the lastnamed port finally on February 21 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal.
