SOUTH TARANAKI TENNIS PARK AND HAWERA EVEN TERMS. HAWERA WINS B GRADE- EVENT. Park’s narrow win over. Sportsdale on Saturday in the inter-club tennis competition made a play-off inevitable in the A grade section. Park and Hawera will meet next Saturday in the playoff, the latter team earning the right to participate by a hollow win over Patea. Eltham beat Manaia in the other A grade fixture The B grade competition provided a thrilling finish. The two unbeaten teams, Park and Hawera, staged an exciting contest, each winning 12 matches.
