Olga Bodel Wilson 'Terril, described us an authoress, ot le Kauwliata, was held before the actingofficial assignee. Mr, G. W. Byowu, at Hamilton last week. Bankrupt was not present and was not represented, but submitted* a statement of her affairs. The acting-official assignee said the proved debts amounted to £(138, while other claims totalled over £1892. The known assets comprised properties at New Plymouth and To Kauwhutii, held subject to mortgages; moneys at present in the hands of the New- Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency- Company, Ltd,, in inspect of a clearance sale held on bankrupt's property at Te Kquwhatii, a, portion of which was claimed by creditors; a, motor-truck, alleged to bo under security, and debts owing to bankrupt from a. grocery business formerly conducted by her in New Plymouth. The meeting was adjourned to enable further inquiries to toe made.
