SOUTHERLY SHOWERS.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will bo mainly fair but there will be some scattered, showers, more especially in western and southern districts. Later the weather will become rfiore generally showery with a southerly change and temperatures will fall. ’ The anti-cyclone has moved to the north-east and a moderate depression is moving on to New Zealand. Pressure has risen rapidly over southeastern Australia. Winds will be variable with moderate west to south-west prevailing. Later winds will become more generally southerly and freshen. Seas will be smooth to moderate.
