About 70 years, medium height, slight build, without teeth, clothes burned. ■ Charred remains of two human bodies. Four unidentified collections of ashes. One of these may possibly be identified but the others will never be. ' That the police anticipate further recoveries of bodies is apparent by their actions; but they arc reticent. It is suggested that the debris at the foot of°Bluff iUTIj which reached from the pea to 100 feet up the cliff face, should be allowed to remain as a natural giaic for those who may be buried there, and a new road constructed round the foot of- the slip, which would take months to remove. The Immense slip, however, has certainly made the cliff face much, safer, subject to a few dangerous points being removed. ....
