FINANCIAL RETURN FOR YEAR. The annual balance-sheet of the Seamen’s Rest in. New Plymouth shows a »balance of cash in bank of £S 17s. sd. on the rear’s working. Receipts included oash“in bank £154 in January, 1930, donations amounting to £B9. mart receipts £3B and £8 10s.' from the W.C.T.U. Expenditure included £8 in insurance and rates, £26 in electric light, and £l7 in groceries and general stationery. The committee was able to invest £2OO in Government bonds and to lend £l5 to the Seamen’s rest radio fund. 1 I -I" 111 '"T
