COTTON INDUSTRY DISPUTE
NEGOTIATIONS for SETTLEMENT-
'British Wireless. Rugby, Feb.. 3. It is confidently hoped that the joint meetings in Manchester to-day by the parties to the Cotton dispute will open a new phase and lead to the resumption of the discussions between the employees and the weavers. If a tentative agreement is reached it will be the subject of a new ballot of the weavers, which it is hoped will end the stoppage. • ' •
