ANTARCTIC WHALES
VALUABLE OIL PRODUCTS. London, January 27.. A new motor-tanker, Kaiakmudsen, built at Gothenburg, with a deadweight capacity of 13,350 tons, has gone to the Antarctic to transport whale oil. A wireless message from the Antarctic announces that a catch of whales, producing barrels of oil, valued at £679,000, was. made by a fleet of AnHo-Norwegian vessels in the 14 weeks ended January IS.
