COUNT” COUNCIL NOTICES. EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL. Special Order Authorising the raising of the Mirikau Road Special Loan 1930 of £350. JN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 17 of "The Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926,” and with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Mirikau Road Special Rating Area in the Egmont County hereinafter described testified by a consent signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :— For the purpose of Forming, Draining Culverting and Metalling a portion of the Mirikau Road and payment of the cost of acquiring land, surveying legalisation and fencing of the said portion of the Mirikau Road the Egmont County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £350, that the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of twenty (20) years, that the rate of interest ■ on the said Loan shall not exceed five pounds fifteen shillings per centum (5J per cent.) per annum, together with a Sinking Fund of Three pounds per centum per annum and declares that the cost of raising, the said Loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. The foregoing resolution which was passed at a properly convened Special meeting of the Egmont County Council held at the County Chambers, Opunake, on the 13th day of January, 1931, will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Council to be held at the County Chambers, Opunake, on the 10th day of February, 1931, at 11 o’clock a.m. WALTER C.
